Create A New User

This dialog allows to quickly create a new user by defining its name, password and roles. The user name can't contain commas or whitespaces, and should be unique.

To ensure the password is entered correctly, it should be entered twice. It is recommended to have a password at least 6 characters long that includes capital letters and digits.

User roles are easily selected in a check list on the bottom of the dialog. Checked roles will be added to a new user once it is created. Please note, there are 3 predefined roles:

• Admin-role is an administrative role with full rights.
• Connect-dv-role allows to connect to the CData Virtuality Server using CData Virtuality Studio. It grants a minimal set of the rights, so the user can only connect in readonly mode.
• Export-dv-role allows users having Connect-dv-role to use the export functioanlity of the CData Virtuality Studio.
